I've noticed a couple of issues using my G815 with Artemis RGB.
Using OpenRGB, with the auto loaded layout the G4 and G5 keys aren't colored by profiles. I can set the layout to none and that makes G4 and G5 work with the profile. However I've also noticed with OpenRGB that random keys will flash random colours that they shouldn't (as least with type waves). G4 and G5 can be highlighted and do light up, but aren't shown as being coloured by the profile in the software.
If I disable my logitech keyboard and mouse in OpenRGB and use the logitech plugin to connect Artemis instead, the keys don't flash random colours, and G4 and G5 work as normal. However now the media keys (reverse, play/pause, forward, mute) aren't being lit up by the colour profile. Also unlike OpenRGB, in the Artemis software they are being shown as being coloured by the profile even though they aren't, and when highlighting them in the device settings they do not light up, opposite of the non-functioning keys running a profile with OpenRGB.
So right now I'm choosing to use the logitech plugin to get rid of the random flashes of colour, but I miss having all the keys light up like controlling them through the OpenRGB SDK.
