Is this a planned feature, or could introducing a feature similar to “Spaces” in OpenCloud-EU be considered?
Advantages of Spaces:
- Files belong to the team/organization instead of individual users
- No data loss when employees leave or accounts are deleted
- Clear separation between personal files and project/team data
- Dedicated storage quotas and permission management per Space
- Easier collaboration through centralized team workspaces
- Less “Shared with me” chaos thanks to structured work areas
- Multiple people can manage the same Space
- Granular permissions (view, edit, upload, etc.)
- Real-time collaboration with Collabora/Web Office integration
- Scalable for large teams and projects
- Reduced admin overhead for ownership transfers and permissions
- Secure internal and external file sharing
