New Logitech G-Hub 2026.3 ruined custom lighting

Expected Behaviour (if not obvious)

my hardware: Logitech g815 keyboard and g502X plus mouse

all layers where working correctly with ghub 2026.2
(except there is no proper support for g502x plus individual leds, only for all leds combined)

Actual Behaviour

since GHub automatically updated today, to version 2026.3, only the "mouse/headset" generic leds are getting the correct lighting. Assigning individual keys on the keyboard does not work at all. The keyboard always shows the same colors as the "mouse/headset" button in the layout (even the effects carry over).

Sorry, that i can't specify any further. The only thing that changed on my computer was the logitech g-hub update and since that all my lighting effects aren't working anymore.

Sorry, i don't really know how to do that. But i can clarify the issue a bit i think... after some testing with other rgb software like artemis2, they showed the same behavior. Keyboard and Mouse stay black and the software shows the light animation correctly in it.

In Aurora the layers are working correctly in the shown animation. When assigning keys to the layers or using freestyle to select them, the only key that is working is the "All Peripheral Devices". All other keys stay black, even when asigning a static color.

Logitech really messed it up this time. Not even windows lighting does recognize the devices correctly. :/

sadly the problem persists. I found out another funny thing... when activating the windows lighting it is not staying black as mentioned before. instead when i turn the dynamic lighting on in win11 system settings it takes about 10 seconds and then the light effect starts and works. but it takes 10 seconds after turning it on. maybe it has to do something with that. sorry that I can't help any further. I just can test it for you.

I have a similar issue with my G910v2 keyboard after Logitech's update of GHUB. Using "Logitech" in the Device Manager section of the settings, I just get my background lighting color and nothing else. I was able to get most of my RGB lighting back by switching to "Logitech (RGB.NET) for the Device Manager controlling my keyboard's lighting. The only LED that is not working under this option is the "G910" logo at the lower left part of the keyboard (The Logitech Logo used to go dark under this setup, but it looks like someone updated the RGB.NET implementation of the G910v2 keyboard LEDs recently).

thank you for mentioning this... i didn't try it with the rgb.net version before. the rgb.net version works partly on my end. only the keyboard is working, but the mediakeys of the g815 do not work. with the normal logitech version it worked before. also I see that it initializes Logitech G915 X TKL instead of my G815. That's why it only works partially. The Mouse is completely dead with the rgb.net version.

I emailed Logitech dev support, hopefully they notice the problem or contact me on how to fix it.

I could propose RGB.NET with a change that creates every kind of device on connection, like in Razer (RGB.NET) so Aurora's integration works no matter what device you have

Can confirm, rebooted the PC and Aurora was not showing any custom lights.
