There were internal changes with all rgb.net devices. Please report if you have issues.

New Features

  • Added Openrgb (Rgb.Net) controller. You can remap your leds with this
    Currently there is no reason to not switch to it. Regular controller will be removed in the future
  • Cleared Device Manager tab. Disabled devices have no message, failed devices have the error message.

Fixes

  • Fixed Corsair (Rgb.Net) controller.
    This one currently has a bug that stops device update every 4 hours or so. Once it is fixed regular controller will be removed
  • Fixed percent layers showing incorrect values drawn
  • Improved Aurora shutdown behavior to forcefully close if devices aren't shut down. Some devices still block Aurora from closing.

Breaking Changes

  • Seperated memory reading and game profiles that use it to another plugin. Go here for the plugin dll.
    ( place dll in Aurora/Plugins or %appdata%/Aurora/Plugins and restart Aurora. Your layers in those profiles might get reset)
    This change is an attempt to prevent false positives from anti-cheat softwares like Valorant's Vanguard.
    While there weren't any case of bans in any games, this will also reduce the chances of happening in the future.
    These are the profiles affected: Borderlands 2, Clone Hero, Dishonered, Resident Evil 2 (classic)
  • Some device scripts and plugins need to be updated. Changes needed to be done are simple. Write to us in discord and make an issue in related repository and we will handle it quickly.

Reworked Hardware Accelerated Ambilight.

  • Fixed multiple captures mostly not working.
  • Fixed a memory leak
  • Improved memory usage
  • There's a rare bug that breaks hardware accelerated capture. Couldn't reproduce yet.

  • Eliminated garbage memory of Ambilight Layer.
  • Fixed a case where Chroma App would be enabled on desktop
