No reaction at all (and no log entry) when executing the workflows.

After updating Chrome, the same issue occurred: cloud sync stopped working and workflows failed to launch.

I have the same problem with Chrome last week. Today I have this problem with the Brave browser. Brave updated from the chrome release yesterday (bad luck).

WORKAROUND:

I was able to continue to run automa by reverting the Chrome browser to an earlier version and disabling Chrome autoupdates.

• backup automa workflows.
• uninstall chrome browser
• install old browser 143.0.7499.147 Dec 16, 2025 from here:

• https://google-chrome.en.uptodown.com/windows/download#versions
  

• https://google-chrome.en.uptodown.com/windows/download/1132698544
  

• disable chrome autoupdates by following this guide https://www.webnots.com/7-ways-to-disable-automatic-chrome-update-in-windows-and-mac/

• I used two of the methods, renamed the google chrome install directory and disable the google update service.

There hasn't been an update in the chrome store for automa to fix the issue of workflows not running. The last update was Aug 11, 2025. How was @Rafa-and able to install the fixed automa browser extension to confirm the issue was fixed?

There is one simple fix : download offline version of Automa 1.28.27 from github and add it by activating developer option in Brave or Chrome.
