Archive repo?

Archiving a repo keeps it visible but makes it clear no development will continue. That seems like a good fit for this repo, perhaps with a justification for why it's been archived.

I understand this functionality is now provided by core and this repo is not longer active.

Should this be archived?

With D65402-code I guess it can be finally archived.

With D65402 reverted, potentially more work to enable edit prompts in widgets may go directly in this repo.
