Cannot Click to Apply Suggestions in Google Docs

Describe the bug
In Google Docs, you cannot click the suggested action to replace the erroneous text with the correct version automatically, it instead does nothing.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a new document in Google Docs.
2. Write anything with an error.
3. Try to click the suggested action.
4. Nothing happens.

Expected behavior
The erroneous text should be replaced with the proper text, like in other websites.

Only tested in Firefox with a brand new document and no other changes.

The 2.0.0 release has not fixed this bug from my testing, verified extension showing 2.0.0 in the popup window.
The popup window also shows the extension as disabled despite it being very obviously enabled to do this in the first place.

Can confirm my Google Docs behavior is mirroring the .gifs above.

I see a dev mention this issue back on April 8th but no update or resolution.

@elijah-potter Any news with this? Sorry to pester, a fix to work on Docs would be much appreciated :)

Just worked on a solution. It does work now seems like was a silly small issue. PR: #3847

Same issue here. The same happens in WordPress when writing an article
