Comments from Mastodon/Fedi don't always show up on Wordpress

It seems a bit random as to which replies to posts that federate via the plugin get their replies come through as comments on Wordpress

Steps to reproduce

Here is an example post on Wordpress: https://nham.co.uk/2025/02/musicians-bands-add-upcoming-events/

You can see the comments at the bottom of the post that have all been written in the Fedi (mostly Mastodon plus some Friendica).

However, when you look at the post on Mastodon you can see there are a lot more replies which never came through to Wordpress as comments.

Any idea why?
