How to prevent TabControl from switching tabs?

Sometimes the operation in the current tab is not completed, and I hope to prevent the user from switching to another tab with the mouse, so I want to give a reminder when switching and terminate the switch.

Maybe, Not tested, but I would try:

Process the Tapped, DoubleTapped, Holding, etc events on your TabItem's, and set the event args Handled depending on your app logic.

I would split TabControl into TabStrip and ContentControl (binding strip selected item to the content control).
And disable strip, when I don't want user to switch tabs.
