I have tested the Bullseye version before and it is the most stable for Avalonia. I have also tested Bookworm, but the Bookworm version has a problem that the display screen cannot display any content. I still don't understand why until this day. I once suspected that it was a problem with the display screen manufacturer, but I contacted the display screen manufacturer and they denied it. At the same time, they also didn't know what the reason was. |

just giving some clues, most dsi screens, especially originally used for cellphone, are fixed to be portrait. rotation must be done by os layer. In you case which is DRM. You can search for |

Has anyone managed to get the new 7" 720x1280 touch display 2 working using DRM kiosk mode on Bookworm Lite in landscape orientation (Without using a desktop UI environment; e.g. Wayland)?
I using an RPI4B running Bookworm Lite and the display connected using the DSI connector and Avalonia 11.2.5.
The default orientation out of the box is portrait orientation.
I've tried adding ````video=DSI-1:720x1280@60,panel_orientation=left_side_up``` to the cmdline.txt, and this rotates the console text, but when I run my Avalonia app it still displays in portrait orientation.
I've also tried adding a rotate transform to my top level view
And this rotates the app to view correctly into landscape, but popups, combo dropdowns and menus are still displayed rotated for portrait. If this is the way to go, how do I get all popup etc controls to display correctly as well?
