You cannot use it directly. You can however setup a separate device that voicecraft supports then play minecraft on XBOX. |
Does that also mean people can't hear me talk if I have a mic connected through the server or what? |
You need to connect to a voicecraft server in order for other people to hear you. |
That's why I'm saying I connected my voice craft to the server and I'm not able to hear it on my Xbox because I'm using a separate account which is being used on my Xbox |
Bruh. You don't use your xbox as voice. you use your separate device running the voicecraft client as the voice communication. Your accounts also do not matter as voicecraft is not tied to your account. It is linked when you do the /vcbind ingame. |
You probably misunderstood me. The communications device is connected to my PC and I'm trying to speak and I'm not hearing nothing while in game of course with server side positioning. |
Did you use /vcbind at any point after connecting? in minecraft |
I tried doing that and I will put in my name again and I'll let you know what it says. It just told me could not bind binding key does not exist or already bound. |
You don't put your name in |
I don't know if I need to use BC bind if I am doing server side positioning is I don't have the voice craft application installed just the server |
You need the voicecraft client. Minecraft does not allow me to access the microphone or play streamed audio. |

Also, do I bind it to the one that has the microphone or do I bind it to the one that is on the console? |
You do /vcbind in game. Again. Your voicecraft client which acts as your microphone shows you the binding key to type into |
OK, I did that and I still don't hear anything on the server side |
I used vcbind on the account that has the microphone connected and I still don't hear anything on the server |
I do not know if I need to change the connection maybe to it or not |
What does your voicecraft client say at the top |
It said bound two player and my name that has the microphone connected |
Are other players connected to the same voicecraft server? |
I have my second account on here on the Voice craft server like endgame, but I don't know. How would I connect it to the server itself |
Especially since the second account is on a console, how would I do that? |
Correct me if I'm wrong. You're using splitscreen to test? |
I'm not split screen at all like I have two devices running like I have my Xbox, which is signed into my second account while my main account is connected to my laptop |
So you would need 2 voicecraft clients running, each one bound to a separate account. |
So I need both of them bound for server side positioning on Xbox |
In your test case yes. If you were testing with a friend, you would only need to have 1 VoiceCraft client running bound to your minecraft instance on xbox while your friend would have their own VoiceCraft client running bound to their own mc instance. |
But even then, how would I split screen because that shouldn't be possible necessarily |
Again. Voicecraft does not link to your account. It links to each player in the world. There should be 1 VoiceCraft client running per player. |
Yeah, I got both of them working |
