nod external needs to be updated #57
Description
nod switched over to spdlog this year, which the current tracked version of nod uses an old version of fmt that spews out deprecation warnings.
It'd be good to get this switched over so that all dependencies are updated (which will also allow full CMake 4.0+ compatibility along). As far as I know this is the last library that needs to be updated (I did the rest). I'd do this myself, but I have no idea how to get the dependency handling in new commits of nod to cooperate with pwe's dew build system (tried and failed at doing so for about an hour and a bit).
So this is more of an open issue for anyone that would seemingly know how to do it.
