Deprecating and archiving this repository helps:

• Remove misaligned deterrence to support community starters due to "competition"
• Free up bandwidth for initiatives e.g. better tutorials, better examples

This is in the aztec org so I don't have admin powers. Charlie, Joe and Zac are the only ones who can do this (unless someone has been given more finely scoped admin powers over this repo).
