chat history is not working when using the Teams extension

When using Team extension Bot, the chat conversations are not getting update in the DB

This is only working in the web app

Hello @concertoroberto, This is to inform you that the chat history feature has been implemented only for the web application, so chat conversations are currently being stored in the database only for the web. If you need chat conversations to be stored in the database for the Teams extension as well, it will require additional implementation effort and can be considered as a potential enhancement.

yes, I am working in a project and I ready need this feature to be available for the Team extension. Do I need to do anything else to request this new enhancement request or can you help me with that?

also, if there any documentation or article you can point me so I can try to implement this myself on existing project while I wait for the potential new enhancement? I think I can figure out how to implement the missing code to connect the DB and save the conversation on the Team extension Bot if you point me to the right direction.

Hello @concertoroberto , If you want to implement the chat history feature in the Teams extension and store conversations in the database, you can refer to "saveToDB" function in the chat.tsx file (located in the frontend folder). This function handles saving messages to the database and can be used as a reference for adding similar functionality in the teamsBot.ts file.
