Why no versioning / releases for this repo?

Hi team - It would be helpful to maintain some official Releases with semantic versioning on this repo.

My situation:

• Need to self-host the portal in order to have private networking only
• My GitHub organization does not allow forks, so I would need to manually update my repo with any changes that happen to this source repo.

If this source repo has proper GitHub Releases that used semantic versioning, and had release notes showing the changes, then that would help me immensely.
