Feature Request: Allow creating new branch assoiated with work item OR allow associating branch with work item

It would be nice to have, where we can associate new or existing branch with work item while creating new item, or later by updating item

I would also like this. From within the UI, our standard workflow is to pull up the work item, and then under the "Development" area, select "Create a new branch" to ensure that the branches we create are linked to the user story/bug/etc.

Functionality already exists to manage the associated work items for Pull Requests (vsts code pr)

It would be nice to have analogous functionality for branches in addition to PRs.
