Python version in Python 3.12 images

I'm using image `mcr.microsoft.com/azure-functions/python:4-python3.12`
In October, the internal python version bumped from 3.12.11 to 3.12.12.

It looks like sometime in December, this has been downgraded, I'm seeing the latest image the python version is again 3.12.11. 

Is that correct? Is it intentional? Was there a reason for the change published anywhere?
