Moving window and embedded boundary

Hi everyone,
I want to simulate the particle beam in RFQ. It may need solve the electrostatic problem in the moving window with embedded boundary. Is it possible to simulate in WarpX now? Thank you.

WarpX does have the capability to use the electrostatic solver in the moving window, but the embedded boundary does not work with the moving window.
Do you absolutely need the embedded boundary for this case? Would it work to instead use open-boundaries for the electrostatic field solver?

@RemiLehe Hi, I want to simulate the charged particle beam between four long quadrupole electrodes with varying transverse shape along the longitudinal direction. Indeed the electric fields generated by the electrodes are RF fields, but we take it as an electrostatic field at every position.
