2D: y-polarized laser not initialized

Seen today with @TiberiusRheaume:

When initializing a Gaussian laser profile in 2D3V simulations, the y polarization does not work. (normal direction is z, polarization in x works.)

Adding the EB label because it might be related to EBs in that sim.

@TiberiusRheaume can you confirm (not urgent) if this is also a problem if you don't use embedded boundaries (not compiled in and not activated)?
