Citing GBIF data

Hi,

Can't remember if we've been in touch about this before, but I wondered if you have an idea of how to improve the way users of the plugin cite GBIF-mediated data?

I've tried adding some instructions to our QGIS page, but I wonder if it could also be made more clear directly in the plugin?

That's a very good idea. My problem is the same as for the other GitHub issues: I don't know when I'll have time to work on this (this plugin started as a tiny side project when I was working for the Belgian Biodiversity Platform. I'm very surprised and grateful it is still used. If anyone wants to tackle that, you're very welcome).

@vijaybarve: that's a great idea I haven't thought of, but unfortunately it appears it's too late for this year.

With a similar approach, I am also currently trying to hire an intern to work on various biodiversity-related OSS software including this one for a couple of months. That's not very successful so far, but I still hope to find someone!
