Question on bemiUp migration command

In _bemi_row_trigger_func we have added
IF (TG_OP = 'DELETE') THEN     RETURN OLD;   ELSE     RETURN NEW;   END IF;
 
  in the end. But is this required as we are not modifying old or new data we don't have to explicitly handle this. Is there some case which can cause issue if not written this explicitly?

Hi @sdoshibitgo! If you don't have DELETE and UPDATE commands in your application, then you can just use RETURN NEW to make the function work.
