Use with openHAB instead of HomeAssistant

Hello,

I'm just starting to explore this repository to use with ESP32-S3-Box that has been lying around for a while.
It very much looks like that it would provide what I intended the S3-Box to be when I got it, except for one detail: The current home installation is done using openHAB but I haven't seen any mention of it.
Is this something others have done? What would I need to look at to get TTS-STT working?
I know there is an ESPHome binding for openHAB but that might not be enough, as I had a Willow docker image running for speech recognition and inference.

Any help and suggestion is greatly appreciated.
