URI as input

How could we handle a URI (e.g. "Here is my ZARR file") as input? Instead of a folder?

And perhaps also as output, instead of a folder ("I have written my results to this URI")

This would support a workflow that reads parts of a remote ZARR, which seems to be ZARR's use-case.

Just use the "string" type? Or should we add a specific "uri" type?
