Non linear nonce increment

Good morning,
Even though I don't know much about mining, I wanted to ask you if it is possible to allow the user to use a non-linear increment of the nonce during mining given the low computing power of the nerdimer. It would be nice to be able to let the user choose the increment formula. What do you think? thank you
