Hello new friends,
I consider myself an ideas guy vs a coder, but I'm willing to learn. I do best with step by step instructions.
Is there an easy way to configure this project to alternate microcontrollers?
I see m5stack m5stamps3 as an option. I own some full size m5stack, like the Fire, core2 and cores3 models.
I'd like to try on one of those first.
I've read in another post that getting the Lilygo with the touchscreen is unsupported, so that maybe relegated me to the Fire with the buttons.
Also, for some reason I'm obsessed with the idea of RISC-V, so I keep buying esp32 C3 & C6 boards mistakenly forgetting that I've got a fee and I'm waiting for the P4. The reason I think stems from me coming g from the Motorola 68K Macintosh era, and the foresight that Apple would switch back from CISC to Risc way before that happened. I feel that same hunch on Risc-v.
That's a long winded way of asking how to support/port the firmware to other boards? Especially for someone that isn't yet familiar with programming, PlatformIO and more.
I came here via a search on the status of Skot's bitaxe project.
Did I read correctly that the esp32 emulated asic runs faster/better than a BM1397 chip? If yes OMG cool.

Thanks for reading this far.
