UI on a ESP32-C3 without the display

I'm running it on an esp32 c3 without display. I did the initial configuration, but how do I check what is usually on the display?
I think it's running as the CHIP is a bit warm, but how do I know if it's running properly?

Connect ESP32-C3 to the computer and see what the ESP outputs to the serial monitor.

That was my 1st guess, as it's the expected standard way. Yet when I try, I'm facing a blank serial monitor.
I flashed it with https://flasher.bitronics.store/, connected to the wifi network it exposes, configured it with a wallet and wifi credentials, connected to the serial monitor using https://espressif.github.io/esptool-js/, and I got nothing.
Perhaps trying it at work, where I don't have control of the network, might have hindered my test I'll try again at home.
