End-User License Agreement (EULA) for BTXZ™

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity), the "Licensee," and BlackTechX011, the "Licensor," for the software product identified as BTXZ™ ("Software"), which includes all associated files, source code, media, and documentation.

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the Software.

This software is distributed under a custom End-User License Agreement (EULA). It is granted for personal, non-commercial use only.

1. Grant of License

The Licensor hereby grants to the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal and non-commercial purposes only, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

2. Restrictions

You are expressly and emphatically restricted from all of the following:

  • Commercial Use: You may not use, copy, modify, or distribute the Software or any of its parts for any commercial purpose without obtaining prior written permission from the Licensor. "Commercial Use" includes, but is not limited to, using the software in a business environment, integrating it into a product that is sold, or using it in any way that generates revenue.

  • Sublicensing, Selling, or Renting: You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your rights in the Software to any third party.

  • Removing Notices: You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Software.

3. Conditions for Modification and Redistribution

You are permitted to create derivative works or modifications ("Modifications") of the Software, provided that you adhere strictly to the following conditions:

  • Naming Convention: Any modified version of the Software that you distribute must contain the lowercase string btxz within its name. For example, my-btxz-project or super-feature-for-btxz are acceptable.

  • Attribution Statement: The documentation (e.g., the README.md file) for your Modification must prominently display the following text:

    This project is built on BTXZ™ by BlackTechX011.

  • Link to Original Repository: You must include a direct and clearly visible link back to the original BTXZ™ repository in your Modification's documentation. The URL to include is:

    https://github.com/BlackTechX011/BTXZ

Failure to comply with any of these conditions for modification and redistribution will result in an immediate and automatic termination of your license.

4. Trademark

The name BTXZ™ is a trademark of the Licensor, BlackTechX011. This EULA does not grant you any rights to use the Licensor's trademarks, logos, or trade names. You may not use the BTXZ trademark to endorse or promote your own modified versions of the software without the express prior written consent of the Licensor. The required attribution in Section 3 is a limited exception for the sole purpose of acknowledging the original work.

5. Copyright

The Software is owned by BlackTechX011 and is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. This EULA grants you no rights to the source code other than those explicitly stated. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Licensor.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

8. Termination

This EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms and conditions. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies of the Software in your possession.
