Scale and Crop issues for native Amiga screens (macOS)

I have been messing with the display settings in Amiberry trying to get the LW screen when in native Amiga mode to display with correct aspect ratio and show the full screen. For some reason the offset and manual crop settings don't allow for this. This image is as close as I could get. You will note the bottom portion of LW screen is chopped off. Using the offset tools is how I got this far. I adjusted the manual crop sliders but they seem to only allow for preset values. I cannot type in and save custom ones. So I end up with a screen image that is the correct aspect ratio, but not enough screen space to see all of the screen. I have tried all the other settings in the display screen and various combos. I cannot find the magic formula to display an Amiga native screen scaled and adjusted for modern displays.

Doesn't Auto-Crop give you a better result than manual crop? In most cases, that's usually better.

Also, I think manual sizes in the Crop textfields are accepted, if you use Enter or Tab after you type something there. Not 100% sure, can't test it right now, but at least they used to work that way some time ago :P

Doesn't seem to for resolution sliders. I was trying to "fine tune" those values and when I hit ENTER, it change backed to the prior number. The sliders seem to act like a set series of preset numbers actually. Remember, I am using macOS version. It might have something to do with that version. :)

I'm curious though, if you want to show it all, why use crop in the first place? The default settings (no crop) should show the whole screen already.

The issue is "showing it all" AND having it be the correct aspect ratio. So that the bowling ball is round. That's the where the trouble started. I could get the bowling ball round, as seen in image. However I then ran out of adjustments to show "all of Lightwave"

Ah, you're also using NTSC, I didn't notice that. I'm usually testing things in PAL, where things are a bit different.

Yes PAL will get different results. In my testing I tried that too, even though not ideal for my usage. Didn't help ultimately.
