Strongbed Problem

I'm making a texture pack, everything's good, except the Strongbeds. For some reason it keeps on loading the preview model of the item that appears in your hand when you hold it as one half of the bed, the purple strongbed works perfectly, but the thing i said before is what the other strongbeds apply to. I started using the default texture pack as a template, I never changed the models, so I don't know why its like this! I even re-downloaded the default texture pack's models folder and replaced it with the newly downloaded one, but its still doing this!
