Will this library work with ATmega328?

I'm working on a project with an ILI9163 display (actually MF128128F15-BFW) and an ATMega328PU, and was just wondering if the microcontroller is compatible with this library? I assume it will be if it works for the Arduino Uno or Nano, has anybody tested it?

EDIT: while I'm here, what wiring configuration do I use? should I base it on the ILI9163 setup 8? ie. cs->D8, dc->D3 and RST->d4 ? Or is NodeMCU for another sort of microcontroller?
