Dramatiq actors causes multiple operations while fetching for heartbeat status in redis

I have a hosted redis instance and just running a dramatiq actor leads to hundred of operations per second. I used 500K operations in 2 days of using my app and all of them originated from dramatiq heartbeats. Is there a workaround for this?
