[Feature Request] Trigger previously added events on setField()

When events were previously added using e.g. change(), these events are not fired when setting values through setField (and this subsequently changes an input, for example).

It would be great if, when changing values through setField, and this updates an input, the corresponding event that was previously set is fired.
