Scan adress 169.x.x.x

Hi everyone, I often scan for 169.x.x.x IP addresses, but I tried NetworkManager, but it gives me an error... is it possible to fix it?

Sometimes I have to enter a static IP address on the 169.x.x.x class on the network card to find some devices that don't acquire addresses automatically. I can do this with other software, but why shouldn't my favorite program do it? ;D

Hi @paolino773, i can try to reproduce it. Is this a zero config network where you don't have something like static IPs / DHCP running and every device gets a 169 via autoconfig? I need to build something like that in order to reproduce....

Any idea how i can reproduce it? What error occurs - Is the app crashing or not finding any hosts?
