RoomClimateControl: what is setPointTemperatureOffset & setPointTemperatureOffsetActiveValue ?

Does anybody know what setPointTemperatureOffset & setPointTemperatureOffsetActiveValue stands for?

I would like to raise the setPointTemperature in some of my devices, if there is plenty of PV-Energy which can be used to store heat in the building. For that i can modify the setPointTemperature... but i need to take care to not override manual changes in the settings.
So maybe i can add additional 2 K with this variables ???
