Security Policy

Reporting a Vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in my project, I encourage you to report it right away. I'll investigate all reports and do my best to quickly fix the problem.

How to Report a Security Vulnerability?

To report a security issue, please use the GitHub Security Advisory "Report a Vulnerability" tab.

What to Include in Your Report?

Your report should include details of:

  • The vulnerability type and its potential impact.
  • A detailed description of the vulnerability.
  • Steps to reproduce the issue (if possible).

What to Expect After Submitting a Report?

After you submit a report, I will respond to acknowledge receipt of your report and I will follow up with any additional questions. Once the issue is assessed, I will notify you of our evaluation and any actions we plan to take.

Security Best Practices for Contributors

If you're contributing to CyberRoulette, I ask that you follow these security best practices:

  • Review the codebase for potential security issues.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Follow standard security guidelines and best practices in software development.
  • Be cautious with handling sensitive data and authentication information.

Updates and Patches

I will notify users about security vulnerabilities and patches through GitHub repository announcements.
