Pluging fails to activate with fatal error

I downloaded a zip file of the plugin and then uploaded it to WordPress. It loaded without issue but failed to activate with the following errors:

This happens because this plugin isn't compatible with PHP 8.

This plugin is also obsolete since WooCommerce now supports rate limiting.
