  I think it saved automatic in the browser. the library uses puppeteer to open chromium in the background.
  it open tab with link of the chat
  https://web.whatsapp.com/send?phone=123456789&text=helloworld
  and then press enter on the keyboard once the page is loaded . then closes the browser
