Tree Vertical Tabs: Drag and drop to new window / Move tab to new window modifer

Is there a way to modify the behavior of dragging a tab to new window, such as pressing shift or control, the sensitivity or disabling the feature. Too frequent when clicking on a tab it gets moved to a new window. Firefox has functionality but it's for the default/native tabs and does not apply to Tree Vertical Tabs. TIA!
