Description
I just highlighted a link that didn't have a proper link and clicked "open link", it then replaced my current page with the link, thus losing my exact place in a video I was just watching (I even middle clicked). And not paying attention to where I was during this three hour video, I had to annoyingly look for it. Annoyingly on a count of I had watched some spoilers.
That being said, I would recommend the "open link" opening in a new tab or even add "open link in new tab". But all in all, if I were a dev, I'd push this qol to the backburner. (but if it's easy, please please please)
Edit: coma, and also if that "open link" had the middle mouse feature, that'd be a candy sweet touch
