If it is supported by TFT_eSPI, it might work.. but many things won't be displayed

For 0.96 that are working on I2C , not on SPI they will not be supported.

If your screen isn't on SPI you will need another display not the small oled I2C.

I am working on Hardware Abstraction Level to add more tft libraries into Bruce, and some new diaplays might be added supporting I2C, qSPI and other kinds of data bus...

But it will take a few more weeks to show up, its on my dev brench
