Dev / Prod switcher

Big week for Budibase. We've been working hard behind the scenes on two large features. Today, we're excited to launch the first of those new features - The Dev/Prod switcher. This new feature lets you toggle between your development and production data, right within the builder. This keeps your live data safe from accidental changes while you're building and testing new features.

The second feature is Workspaces - Group multiple apps, automations, and data sources together in one place. This is a major shift in the Budibase experience. We plan to release Workspaces in the next few days.

In the last update (Oct 2, 2025), I can no longer edit table schema while in Prod. When I try to switch to Dev, I get this: No production environment variables. Is that an Enterprise feature?

I need to be able to edit the schema in Prod.
