Hi playerreplay, Won't answer your enterprise licensing as i believe changes may be coming soon, so will let them respond to you. We are using the enterprise product in government and have rolled out a couple larger apps with 50 plus screens and deep relational data needs (only via one DB though) along with a bunch of smaller apps all on the same instance and the platform continues to be snappy with some considerations. These apps also include integrations into other government related rest API's etc. We also have it running on the bare minimum speced VM from our data centre, so there is lots of upgrade room and re-architecting from a basic container into Kubernetes etc.
Over time though:
It's important to understand these are not necessarily issues and the fact you can approach different needs from different angles to make an app that runs fast and still fully utilises the products features has been great for us. The recent workspace feature is also allowing us to look at much broader solutions. I will say, support from them has been exceptional. |

Hey @playerreplay and @phamalda, Our sales team can help you explore pricing options and show you how to get the most value from Budibase. You can reach them using this contact form. We also offer a free trial to experience the features firsthand. Visit our pricing page for a detailed breakdown of our plans. Then, click the "Compare plans and features" accordion to see the differences. |

Hi there,
I just spun this up locally and noticed there were paywalls for features, perhaps the articles I read were outdated. Regardless, we would have no issue paying, I just don't want to signup for an enterprise plan, start building and come to the conclusion that this isn't going to be a good fit for us and now we're locked in to some kind of enterprise contract.
Is there a baseline / estimate / calculator for getting an idea of what Enterprise pricing looks like? The feature list doesn't really go into great detail about why custom quote is a requirement to lift premium plan limits. The table wording (“Everything in Premium, and…”) makes it unclear if seat limits carry over, considering seat limits are not presented in the enterprise pricing table, I assume enterprise has no seat limits? It almost seems as if seat limits are the same for both premium and enterprise.
What exactly counts as an “app user”? For example, if I build a B2B wholesale catalog with ~600 customers who log in to purchase tiered based discounted products, would that mean I’m looking at $3,600+ per month on Premium? I assume that’s not the case and there’s no hard cap on customer-facing users, but it would be good to have clarity.
Lastly, I see there are a number of tutorials showcasing how to quickly scaffold a number of different types of portal, that's great but will there be bottlenecks or deadens when trying to build things that have more complexed business logic? Is there a list of known issues and/or limitations of the platform that may come to a surprise down the road? Does it work well when dealing with ternary+ relationship data?
Thanks!
