Menubar error causing issues for IPC

Observing this error:

[error] [ipcMain] No window to send event on

Which means menubar is somehow failing to instantiate the window?

Observed:

• Release 1.3.1
• OSX 10.13.1

Also I'm noticing this error on sigterm, perhaps they are related to bumping the IPFS go binary version since this was on a installation that auto-updated from < 1.3.x ?
