Seeking Recommendations for LibCEED Contributions

I’m interested in contributing by either translating an existing example to Python or improving the documentation to support new users. If there are any areas or examples you’d recommend focusing on, I’d really appreciate your suggestions.

Our Python examples are the second most complete after those in C, so I am not sure there is a lot available there at this time.

I've been thinking this over, and really I don't know of any obvious low hanging fruit for documentation fixes right now. (Though, I've been using this library for 8 years, so its hard for me to fully gauge that)

Personally, I think that if you know Python, then Julia isn't too bad to pick up. We have ex1-volume and ex2-surface implemented in Julia but not ex3-volume. See here. We do have ex1_volume, ex2_surface, and ex3_volume in Python though. See here.

If you know Python, I don't think it would be too tricky for you to copy our ex1-volume for Julia and make a ex3-volume following the example shown in ex3_volume for Python.

The other thing that comes to mind is enabling a dark mode for our documentation like we have for Ratel. See here. This may involve some changes to figures. See here. I don't know that this one is as compelling/interesting as its more fiddly rather than helping future users understand the library, but it is a nice to have feature that I want to do eventually.

That page isn't really intended to have examples. It's meant as a record of major changes to the codebase.
