Hi, In CGAL 5.6, the octree subdivides the cubic bounding box of the input data. Every node has a cubic bounding box. From CGAL 6.0, the octree can subdivide non-cubic spaces and nodes can have non-cubic bounding boxes. As your input data is not a grid with 2^n points evenly spaced along each axis, the leaf nodes are not all at the same depth in the tree. |

I have a 3D-matrix-like point cloud which every point in it has same distance in all axis.
I try to split space for managing it using octree with a
refine()inputCGAL::Orthtrees::Maximum_number_of_inliers(1). But finally I find that there are many nodes in octree has not only one point in it. Does I have something wrong ofrefine()?The version of CGAL is 5.6.1.
