5.6.3 is the final 5.x version? (`5.6.x-branch` is removed)

Recently `5.6.x-branch` branch was removed and `v5.6.3` was released. 

Just wanted to clarify (sorry, if it was already clarified somewhere else - I couldn't find it) - 5.6.3 is the final 5.x version and anyone who previously used `5.6.x-branch` could just switch to `v5.6.3` and forget about it, until they migrate to 6.x?
