Contours: LMB drag to tweak loop

In v3, left click dragging on an edge in Contours would tweak the entire loop that edge was a part of. It would be great to be able to do that in v4 as well!

If possible, it would be nice if this only applied to tweaking with the mouse and not when grabbing with G from the keyboard. As a user I would expect grab to remain the same as the other tools.

I'm not sure this is correct. in v3, LMB Drag starts edge selection painting. If you double click LMB, it will select the loop based on hovered edge, then a LMB+Drag tweaks the already selected loop. v4 behaves similar to this.

we can change Contours so LMB+Drag will select the hovered loop and begin tweaking if that seems reasonable.

i'm fine either way, but doing the latter/your suggestion (which I would argue is better) does break away from blender convention

Oh wow, yeah. Even after so much time of using Contours! I got that by watching the v1 and v2 videos and even there when I look more closely, I see he is selecting first... it's just very fast and it looked like one smooth motion. I must have been remembering Loops, not Contours.

If it's doable though, a Loops style tweak in Contours would be amazing! Since it is breaking convention though like you said, can it be a preference? And, like Loops, could it be a slide rather than a move?
