Failed download of default nhits map when running in a job on SO:UK cluster

While running megatop-mask-run inside a job on the SO:UK data center the following error pops up:

10-Feb-26 02:48:29 - INFO: Downloading nominal hit map from https://portal.nersc.gov/cfs/sobs/users/so_bb/norm_nHits_SA_35FOV_ns512.fits
10-Feb-26 02:49:50 - ERROR: Nominal hitmap download failed

It works fine while running interactively on the login node (I haven't tried running on an interacive job)
This is a minor issue, I'm just writing it there to keep a track of it

I think the compute nodes there do not have internet access. We should add some caching mechanism so that this hitmap can be downloaded once and then just read from disk.
