UnKnown Serivce type Exception

Hello
I am trying to run dlt-viewer on a virtual machine, the host is windows and the virtual machine runs ubuntu 24
the GUI starts correctly but when I try to connect to a dlt-deamon it prints connected but an exception is thrown directly after
these are the printed logs:

Connected to "localhost" at "14:24:12" "TCP"
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
what(): Unknown service type
Aborted (core dumped)

i tried looking at the code but i see that this "DLT_SERVICE_ID_CONNECTION_INFO" service id is not handled on the switch case
Any help on how to start it would be appreciated, thank you

When i used the tag 2.25.0 it worked

you can try released version 2.27 as well. The regression has been introduced in master and should be fixed with #643
