Dependency to respec-w3c?

We have as of today some references to w3c scripts like:

... and ...

<section id='sotd'></section>

This results in a warning like:

... which I assume we do not want. Do we have any need to keep the respec-w3c and related content. Or do we better need to move away from it.

Or maybe not. The respect script I am not sure to what extent we are using this tool...

we can remove the Status of this Document (sotd) section and keep respec as it generates table of contents, editors section etc. We could also create some javascript to override and generate custom specStatus which controls stod.
